Abstract
The PyPSA Meets Earth Lab is an interactive online event bringing together the global PyPSA community to collaboratively advance open-source energy system modelling. Participants will work hands-on with the PyPSA framework, contribute to improving datasets, workflows, and documentation, and exchange ideas for future development. The event combines hackathon-style sessions, community discussions, and technical tutorials, aiming to strengthen collaboration across research institutions and practitioners working on open, transparent, and reproducible energy system analysis. Organized by the PyPSA community, the event highlights the role of open science for global decarbonization pathways and sustainable energy transitions.
