Bayern Fit for Partnership - Project presentation H2Global meets Africa – Exploring potential and measures for a just market ramp-up in Africa

Abstract

In order to achieve national and international climate protection targets, diversify Germanys and Europes energy supply, and make it more secure, it is crucial to ramp up the hydrogen economy both nationally and internationally. Two factors are essential for this ramp-up: stable international partnerships and a stable legal and financial framework. The research project aims to facilitate the entry of African partner countries into the global hydrogen economy and to identify potential and measures for promoting a fair market ramp-up of hydrogen in Africa and its transport to Germany.
